We’re having a BOY!! We are thrilled to be adding a little man to our family! Ryne is already dreaming about tossing a football around in the yard and adding a second little set of helping hands to his garage projects. My dad hosted a gender-reveal party for us yesterday, where we bit into white cupcakes filled with blue frosting. The gender was a surprise to everyone, including Ryne and I. We explained to Quinn ahead of time that if the inside of the cupcake was pink that meant we were having a girl and if the inside was blue we’d be having a boy. She was a little confused at first. I overheard her tell her great-grandma Sandy on the phone after the party that “we’re having a sister!” Given a little redirection, she seems excited to be having a little brother 🙂
