It was cold and rainy most of the weekend, which made it prime time for an indoor field trip to the Denver Aquarium. It was a first time for both Quinny and I. She loved seeing all the fish and I loved hearing her say “BIG FISH” in the deepest little voice she could muster. After a little while, it began to feel like we were in a a Dr. Suess book. One fish, two fish. Red fish, blue fish. Baby fish, mommy fish.
Those tiny fingers touched every moist, questionable surface they could reach while we were there and she couldn’t have been happier. I, on the other hand, probably won’t be volunteering to chaperone any field trips to the Aquarium in the future 😉
Quinn’s Raincoat
On a completely unrelated note, I only have THREE WEEKS LEFT of my clinical rotations. Almost 7 years of my life devoted entirely to learning is nearly complete. And this little girl helped me mail my graduation announcements.
Happy Monday!
