Age: 16 months
Stats at 15 month check-up: Height: 30.5 inches (45th percentile). Weight: 20.5 lbs (30th percentile).
Clothes: Starting to fit into some 18-24 months sizes, but I have to roll up her pants.
Favorite foods: blackberries, avocados, noodles, strawberries, crackers
Favorite words: happy, touchdown, outside, minute, please, pumpkin, and every toddler’s favorite word- no. After Quinn’s last check-up we started to count all the words she can say. We stopped counting when we got to 65! She is learning new words every day. She has also started stringing 2-3 word sentences together, like ‘tay-tou, mama’ (thank you, mama). I am obsessed with her baby gibberish.
Favorite activities:
Using her own fork to feed herself. Meals just got a lot messier!Walking the dogs. Before I even get a hug after I get home from work, she runs to the dogs and says ‘galk, galk buppies’ (walk, walk puppies). She’ll hold one or both of the leashes and walk them roughly half a mile around the neighborhood, stopping a few times along the way to pick up rocks.Feeding her Bitty Baby “milk”. She is such a sweet little mama ;)Puzzles. One day, out of nowhere, she completely surprised me by putting most of the letters into their correct spots on her alphabet puzzle.
Signature moves: Giving hugs with aggressive pats on the back. Pretending to put lotion on. Dancing. “Cleaning”, which usually involves Quinn wiping our dog, Gatsby, with a Clorox wipe.
