I did it! After 7 agonizing years of being a full-time college student, I am finally finished with Pharmacy School. My last rotation ended on Friday and first thing Saturday morning we hopped a flight to our favorite place for a little playtime before graduation. I nearly forgot that Mother’s Day was the next day. Ryne spoiled me with fresh Hawaiian flowers, the sweetest pic of my baby girl, and brunch reservations! It’s hard to beat Mother’s Day in paradise, especially when it snowed 10 inches at home 😉
We spent our week was soaking up the sun at the beach and pool. Some of us have been having more fun than others. I caught a terrible cold on day 2 of our trip so I’ve been a little under the weather despite the perfect weather. If only umbrella drinks had magical healing powers, I’d be well on my to feeling better by now.
We fly home on the over-night flight tonight. It should be a real treat. A toddler trying to sleep in my lap while I’m trying to sleep? Sign me up! Fortunately this will be her last flight without her own seat because our baby turns TWO tomorrow! Ahh, time, slow down! Well, here is to hoping that my baby sleeps and neither of my eardrums burst from this crazy cold.
