Happy Mother’s Day to all you sweet mamas out there! My Covid Mother’s Day was so special. My sweet husband drove me all around town this weekend helping me to pick the perfect pots and flowers for our front porch. I chose a fun and funky array of fiber optic grass, bacopa, purple petunias, white intensia, dark sweet potato vine, and a tall purple flower for height. Sunday morning was so wonderfully slow. Ryne ran out to get donuts and I drank two full cups of coffee (while they were hot!). My mama took me for a manicure/pedicure while Ivy napped and then I came home to a massive “Happy Mother’s Day” chalk drawing on the driveway. In the afternoon, the kids polished off the remaining donuts while they helped me plant our new flower friends. It really was a perfect day.
