Maui is our home for the next six weeks while I am on my second clinical rotation. Usually when we travel Ryne works while baby and I play. Now it’s his turn to have a little one-on-one time with our girl.
We are staying on the Northwest side of Maui near Kapalua. Ryne and I traveled to this part of the island when I was about 22 weeks pregnant with Quinn. Every morning we’d get up before the sun and grab a coffee and cinnamon roll to share. We’d stroll this boardwalk as the sun came up and talk endlessly about what to name the sweet baby girl we were so anxiously expecting.
This island has played host to many of our most treasured memories. I hope that these next six weeks will prove to be no different.
