It’s been eight months since the rainy, cold July day that we moved into our new place. It’s been a slow process making this place our own. We moved from a two-bedroom home into a five-bedroom home, so many of the walls and rooms remain empty (except to play host to Quinn’s playful messes). We finished painting just after the holidays and although it is far from complete on the inside, every day this house feels a little more like home.
Before we started decking the halls for the next holiday, I thought I’d share a little kitchen tour. Ryne and I dreamt of a bright, white kitchen and we love the way it turned out. We would have preferred a rectangular island to the curved island, but the curved island does fit the space well and makes it easy for us to keep an eye on Q.
Our kitchen is almost never this clean. It’s not long before our tornado toddler comes through with her gaggle of dolls, toys, and art supplies and creates a masterpiece on our white countertops.
I hope you’ve enjoyed this mini tour of our kitchen. More spaces to come! And here is some silly-goose cuteness, just for fun 🙂
