Sweet Ivy girl! How can it be that we are already 3/4 of the way through your first year of life?! You are the sweetest baby who just loves to be held and played with. You are a social butterfly and madly in love with your siblings. We love you so much, baby girl! Watching you grow is the sweetest. 
Age: 8 months
Stats: 16 lbs, wears size 3 diapers and 9-12 month sized clothes, and no teeth yet! Quinn got her first tooth at 6 months and Conrad got his first tooth around 10 months, so we know we could see one pop up anytime now.
New this month: She seems like she may be attached to her burp cloth, just like her siblings were. I swear she can’t sleep without it! Not new this month- still not crawling. Totally milking the whole baby thing.
Language: Waving! That counts, right? May have said “hi”, “dada”, and “up”, but mostly we’re living in the everything is “mama” phase. And I swear she says “blah blah blah” all day long.
Sleep: Lays down awake and falls asleep by herself, but seems to be struggling with separation anxiety at night about an hour after falling asleep. But most nights she sleeps 12-ish hours, from 7:30pm-7am + an awesome 2-3 hour morning nap. Most days she takes a short afternoon nap or skips the afternoon nap all together.
Food: We are still riding the struggle bus at meal time. She will tolerate peanut butter yogurt, mostly enjoys baby puff snacks, but other than that she hasn’t shown interest in food.
Nicknames: Ivy girl. Ivy bear. And “Who dat girl!?” said in the highest voice you can muster.
