Hi there- my name is Lauren. I live in Colorado with my husband, Ryne, and our sweet little girl, Quinn. This is my little corner of the internet where I document the joys and trials of life with a little one and all the changes the experience of parenthood brings. You know, all the good stuff! This space gives me the opportunity to share pictures of our ever-growing girl with family and my hope is that one day, Quinn (and whatever other children we may be blessed with) will read these entries and know that she is so deeply loved by her parents.
A little bit about us- Ryne and I are high school sweethearts. We got married less than a month after our 20th birthdays and have been happily married for 3 glorious years. I am currently in my third year of pharmacy school, an intense 4-year doctorate program. In the fall of 2012, only a year into my program, we got the unexpected news that I was expecting our daughter, Quinn (now 9 months old). It’s been an incredible challenge to continue with school and navigate the waters of new motherhood, but I wouldn’t trade my life for anything. Being a mom is my greatest achievement and an even greater joy.
I love coffee & breakfast (especially if it involves donuts), traveling with my loves, dresses with pockets, and all things festive. Life isn’t always beautiful, but I’m doing my best to focus on the good- the experiences, people, and things that make it all worthwhile. So, welcome! I’m glad you’re here.
