What a fun, spooky season it has been! The last few days have been full of pumpkin carving, movie watching, and topping off our front porches (at both houses!) with spider web. We decided to trick or treat from our new house this year, even though it is still completely empty- 1) for ease of running house to house and 2) so we could start to make memories in our new neck of the woods. Our new neighborhood is the freaking cutest. It is full of families and 90’s nostalgia, so it really shines on a night like this. Ivy pooped out early and spent most of the night riding in the stroller, but Quinn and Conrad went until they literally couldn’t carry their candy buckets anymore. At the end of the night, we posted up in our empty fixer-upper next to the blazing fire place and ate candy as a family. It was magic and I’ll never forget it, but I can’t wait until we are returning home there this time next year to a renovated home.
