Before we jump into Thanksgiving festivities, I want to share some pics from Halloween! On Thursday we made a last minute stop at the church pumpkin patch to get one more pumpkin for carving.
Last year, Ryne and I carved Quinn’s handprints and the letter Q into our pumpkins. This year, we each chose a design from one of those stencil packs attached to the pumpkin carving kits. Clearly, I have much to learn from my husband. Nailed it!
On Halloween night, we made a big pot of stew (a tradition in my family) and watched Hocus Pocus before all the ghosts and ghouls started to arrive at our door. Quinn had such fun running all over the neighborhood, collecting candy with her 6-year-old aunt.
We even had to make a quick stop back at the house to bundle up before heading back out for a second round of trick-or-treating. I think we are going to have our hands full next year when she realizes she actually gets to eat the candy!
