I cannot believe this sweet boy is already 9 months old! He is full of smiles and giggles, loves to give big open-mouth kisses, and takes off crawling to the bookshelves as soon as I say the word “book”. We love him so much and can’t imagine life without him!
Age: 9 months
Stats: 21lbs – he’s a very big boy!
New this month: Standing unassisted! Walking is just around the corner
Teeth: None yet! Conrad didn’t get his first one until 10 months.
Language: Mama, Dada, nigh-nigh, milk, and book which sounds like (buh-ph).
Sleep: George is still up one to two times per night, occasionally catching us by surprise and sleeping all the way through to 6am. I know he will sleep through the night eventually. Still napping twice a day, but the second nap is pushing later and later making me think he’s on the brink of dropping it.
Food: George is a lover of all foods. Strawberries, string cheese, yogurt, and meat of any kind all make regular appearances on his highchair tray.
Nicknames: Boo boo & Georgie
Favorite baby items for a 9-month-old:
- This stroller is collapsable with one hand, and stands up on it’s own when collapsed. It has just enough features for convenience without feeling clunky or unmanageable. We love it!
- These footed Halloween pajamas because spooky season is right around the corner.
- Our favorite quilt for naptime and snuggly nursing sessions.
