For The Easter Baskets

Since I found out I was pregnant in August, Easter has really been my end of pregnancy marker. And the fact that we are less than a week away is really blowing my mind (and making me a bit sweaty thinking of all the things we have left to do)! With my due date only 10 days away, our Easter plans are really up in the air. I could be nine years pregnant at Easter dinner. We could be spending this Easter in the hospital. Or maybe we’ll be at home with a newborn in our arms. We are all not so secretly hoping baby sister makes her arrival this week! But we are preparing for any possibility. I had SO much fun putting together three baskets this year. Fortunately I was able to find a matching Magnolia basket at Target for baby girl. After purging our home, we tried to keep the kids’ baskets super practical (read: no crap). All of the kids will be getting spring clothes. The girls (can’t believe I can say that!) are getting a few bows and animal print totes from Anthropologie. And Quinn and Conrad are both getting new shoes, slime, and a few Easter candies.

If we are not in the hospital having a baby on Easter, we will be up bright and early to watch the kids hunt eggs while we sip our coffee and stuff our faces with cinnamon rolls before heading off to church. Then we’ll go to my mom’s house for mimosas and brunch, followed by my uncle’s in the afternoon for lunch, more egg hunting and face-stuffing. I am hoping we will have time to dye eggs with the kiddos this week and I still need to pick up some Easter candy, but God only knows if we will make it in time! Either way- it should be an exciting week!
