Easter Basket: For the Toddler

We are starting to get so excited about spring over here. It’s been in the 60’s all week, the trees that line our front walk have little buds on them and it makes my heart oh so happy! We are feeling particularly blessed and grateful this year. After years of back pain, I had surgery on my spine last week and I am already feeling so much improvement. I’m hoping to be moving around with ease by the time the end of March rolls around!

I love playing the Easter Bunny and color coordinating all the goodies, so I thought I’d share a round up of a few things that could be in Q’s Easter basket this year. Since Quinn’s toy collection is a little out of control (I swear they multiply while we sleep), I tried to keep her basket practical and light on the toys. I usually include a festive sippy cup and some new pajamas like these fun ones from Jcrew. I hope it gives you a little inspiration for your little one!

This sounds crazy (since Quinn is almost 3), but this will year be our first Easter EVER with Quinn while living in our own place. The process of building our home took so long! We moved out of our town house and into my parents’ in January of 2014 and this time last year we were still living with my parents while our new house was being built. Which means her first two Easter’s happened while living at my parents’ house. Seriously, it took forever to build this beautiful place! So we are extra excited to celebrate Easter in our own home 🙂
