Saturday was Conrad’s seventh birthday. Instead of gifts, he opted to take a couple of friends to Chick-fil-A and Main Event after his basketball game on Saturday morning. Saturday night, we had dinner as a family and stuck a candle in a small sheet cake from Trader Joe’s for the Happy Birthday song and a candle wish. On Sunday we celebrated with a small birthday party of our closest family and friends. It’s tradition and always a good time!
At seven years old, Conrad loves to play with his little sister. He is a steady leader and fierce protector of all living things. He is silly, full of imagination, and runs just about everywhere he goes. His laugh is one of my favorite sounds and he’s growing up entirely too fast. We are absolutely loving this phase with him! Sweet boy, I love you so much! I’m so grateful to be your mama and watch you grow into the wonderful young man that you are!
