Our sweet boy turned FOUR last week!! How?! His sweet face is looking more grown up all the time. He has the sweetest dimples and the biggest brown eyes that get him out of trouble WAY more than I care to admit. His four-year-old obsessions include his bluest blankie, his BFF Daisy, and all the Paw Patrol. He requested a Paw Patrol birthday cake, so we threw him a little party with Chase at the center of it all. It turned out so cute and he had the absolute best time!
We started the day with opening all of his presents before getting Quinny off to school. He opted to skip school for the day, so we took him out for a little birthday pancake. Then we spent a nice quiet day at home playing with all of his new presents before heading to my brother’s house for dinner to celebrate my niece (who shares a birthday with Conrad)! On Saturday, we threw a small party (as we always do) to celebrate our birthday boy. I don’t think he minded one bit that we celebrated him twice 😉
Things I want to remember about him at this age are:
-The way he walks sleepily down the stairs in the morning with his blankie balled up in his arms and says “Mornin’ guys.” My fav!!
-His v kissable, chubby cheeks. I could eat those things with a spoon!
-The way he ADORES his sisters. He is the most loving creature on this planet. He has the biggest heart and I fully intend to nurture that every minute that he lives under our roof.
Conrad Edison, you are such a joy and I am so thankful I get to be your mama! I have loved watching your sweet heart grow these last four years. Your fire for life is a special kind of magic and it is a beautiful thing to experience. Happy birthday, sweetest boy!
