Happiest T H I R D birthday to our sweet and wild little man! Today you went around wishing everyone else ‘Happy birthday!’ and I wish I could bottle you up and keep you little forever. Two was such a fun age with you and I’m already loving three. Hearing your little voice say “you’re the most ‘sprecious’ girl ever” and ” ‘or welcome’ while closing your gigantic brown eyes and snuggling into me are a few of the things I hope to never forget about this age. It’s been so special to watch you become a big brother this year. You think your big sister hung the moon and you already have an incredible ability to make Ivy laugh.
I’ll never forget bringing you into the world in that quiet labor & delivery room three years ago. While the rest of the world was asleep, I was experiencing one of the most profound moments of my life while holding you on my chest for the first time. I mean every syllable of every word when I say that words will never adequately describe the magic of that night or the love I feel for you.
