Our boy is three weeks into preschool and loving it! He goes three half(ish) days a week and his class size is super small, which is helpful with all the first day feels. The day before school started, we did a “Meet & Greet” with his teachers. He was feeling a little hesitant about starting school and self-professed that he didn’t know his ABC’s, but warmed up when he realized his classroom is full of toys 🙂
Quinn cried literally. every. single. day of her 1st year of preschool, so we are over-the-moon happy that he is enjoying this new adventure! Conrad is absolutely in love with his teacher, Miss Katelyn, and I don’t blame him one bit because she is the sweetest thing in all the land. His first day coincided with our first snow of the season (making the moment all the more magical!). It was hard on all of us that we couldn’t walk him to his classroom on this special milestone. I had to hug him goodbye outside of the door and Ryne wasn’t allowed to go much further than that. His teacher said he shed a few tears the first day, but she gave him lots of hugs and a laminated photo of our family to hold and felt much better. So sweet! We are feeling so grateful that both of our big kids are able to attend school this year. Happiest first year of school to you, my sweet boy!
