Seven months is oh so fun with this sweet boy. He is a laid back, happy baby with a healthy curiosity! He loves to be outside, play with toys, be held, and pull his sister’s hair (and so it begins). He has figured out how to get up on his knees and rock back and forth. We expect him to take off crawling any day now, immediately followed by packing up his room and heading off to college. No sign of teeth in his gummy smile, but the poor thing is so ready to graduate from baby food.
Stats: 16.2 lbs (still barely squeezing into his 3-6 month sizes)
New this month: Conrad clapped for the first time on the first day of fall! It is the cutest thing watch and with that kind of timing there is no doubt he is this mama’s boy. He says “mamamama” when he’s tired or wants milk. He also started waving and imitating some sign language. And he discovered we have dogs this month!
Favorite things: Putting everything in his mouth. A pacifier covered in floor lint? Yum! Loves being entertained by his sister. He will contort his body in unnatural ways to follow the sound of her voice and laughs uncontrollably over just about everything she does.
Least favorite things: Having his diaper changed. Ain’t no baby got time for that! One of us will be changing him and all of the sudden he’ll flip onto his stomach and we’ll be wheel-barrowing him across the diaper changer.
Nicknames: Bubs.
Sign language: Loosely using ‘all done’ and ‘more’.
