Stats: 15lbs 8oz (20th percentile), 25.75 inches (20th percentile)
New this month: Lots of laughing and even telling a few of his own jokes (he thinks it’s hilarious to blow bubbles with a mouth full of baby food). He is sitting up on the floor and in a high chair mostly unassisted. He is much happier in his carseat now (yay!). Both kids absolutely loathed their carseats as newborns, which made even a trip to get a coffee difficult to bear.
Favorite things: Bubs loves his bouncer, being tickled by daddy and entertained by his sister. Quinn will hold his hand in the car while he falls asleep. It’s the sweetest. He loves to chew on spoons, his blankie (burp cloth), and his toes. And he LOVES food. He wants to eat everything, especially if we are eating it.
Least favorite things: Sleep. Conrad is far more inconsistent with his sleep than Quinn was at this age. He has periods of good sleep, but for the most part he is still up 1-2 times per night (usually around 1am and 5am). Thankfully, he goes back to sleep pretty quickly. He generally goes down for the night around 7:30pm and wakes for the day around 8am.
Nicknames: Bubs, Bubber, Bub, Big Boy.
Signature moves: Arching his back while nursing so that he can see sissy or daddy. Smiling at someone and then turning away bashfully. Grabbing my face or Ryne’s face and then burying his head into us. Grabbing hold of my hair and pulling with unbelievable strength in an effort to make me bald. A shorter haircut may be in the future for this mama.
