Age: 5 months
Stats: 15 lbs (12 in his thighs and cheeks alone)
New this month: Bubs is officially a hip baby! He can sit on a bed mostly unsupported and is nearly able to sit in a highchair. He can roll both directions and prefers to sleep on his stomach. He loves Baby Einstein, grabbing people’s faces, and being tickled by his daddy.
Sleep: Sleep? What is sleep? Bubs is still waking up 2 times per night on average, but most often he is waking around 4am and then again around 6:30am, which isn’t the worst. He’s finally on a daytime schedule of 2-3 naps.
Food: This boy loves food! When we first started him on food, he gagged on the texture (who doesn’t?). This month he has had butternut squash, peas, green beans, bananas, blueberries, blackberries, avocado, carrots, and oatmeal. He loves everything, but the ice cream mama snuck him last night is his favorite so far 😉
Nicknames: Bubs, Bubsy, Fatty, Big Boy, and my favorite (Quinny’s nickname for him)- Bubber Boy.
