It really is unbelievable to me that baby Conrad is going to be ONE in just a few weeks! This first year has gone by so stinking fast. We are loving soaking up all of his sweet baby-isms like how he crosses his ankles when he sits and how he loves to lay on my chest while I rock him to sleep. His favorite foods are blueberries, pasta, bananas, and bread. Carbs are kind of his jam. His favorite activities are playing in the play tent with his big sister, standing in the Target cart, and karate chopping his sippy cup on to the floor. He is cute as a button and sweeter than sugar. Still sleeps like garbage.
New this month: Pointing. Shaking his body violently to say “no”. Now taking one nap a day. First trip to the hospital. We all caught a cold right after Christmas. Poor Conrad ended up at Children’s Hospital because he was having trouble breathing. A few nebulizer doses and an oral steroid later and he was back to his sweet, mischievous self!
Favorite things: “Cookies” aka graham crackers. Fake sneezing (hilarious). Holding his own bottle. His puppy that he absolutely cannot sleep without.
Least favorite things: Being fed with a fork. He is the MESSIEST eater of all time.
Nicknames: Bubs. Big man. Handsome boy. Wooger man.
Language: Conrad can say ‘dada’, ‘dee’ (sissy), ‘that’ (dah). He is also saying and signing ‘All done’, but saying it like ‘Ahh duh’. He is an old pro at signing ‘milk’. And he’s been saying what sounds like “yeah.”
Me: Do you want some food?
Conrad: Yeah.
Me: Can I change your pants?
Conrad: Yeah.

Conrad’s 11 Month Old Schedule:
6:30am – Wake up for the day and nurse
7am – Eat a yogurt and Cheerios for breakfast
7:30am-11am – Play with sissy’s toys until he can’t keep his eyes open
11am – Nurse again and nearly rip off important parts of my body with is razor sharp teeth
11:30am-2:30pm – Nap
2:30pm-5:30pm – Play with matches and destroy the hardwood floors
5:30pm-6:30pm – Whining
6:30pm – Bedtime
