Merry Christmas Eve!!! We have spent the past few days doing some last minute shopping, wrapping presents, baking family recipes, and enjoying all of the festivities our hometown has to offer.
We took Quinn to see the Zoo Lights with my dad and stepmom. Despite the look on her face in this picture, Quinn absolutely loved it (as did my parents)! She spent the whole night literally running around the zoo saying “ooh liigghhts!” We were out way past her bedtime and she immediately fell asleep in the car on our way home. A Christmas miracle!
After getting a few inches of snow yesterday, we were able to take Quinn sledding for the first time. To be honest, Ryne enjoyed it more than she did. Ha! But our little eskimo loves to be outside and crunch the snow under her little boots, so she still had a blast. Fingers crossed, it is supposed to be a white Christmas this year, with 6-14 inches of snowfall expected tomorrow!
On the heels of a Griswold-worthy week, we will be enjoying a quiet Christmas Eve of baking cookies for Santa and frying a turkey. Quinn isn’t quite sure what’s going on, but she is still bouncing off the walls with excitement, which hopefully will result in an early bedtime 😉
Wishing you the MERRIEST CHRISTMAS from the Hammons Family!
