It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas in the Hammons’ household. A gentle snow rolled in this morning, the kids are officially on Christmas break and all sugared up from their class parties, and I am currently sipping on a large hot chocolate with a boatload of marshmallows. Only seven days until Christmas and we intend to make as much magic as humanly possible between now and then. Ryne’s parents are coming into town tomorrow and we are all too excited for words to see them! I have at least a dozen errands to run before then. This afternoon we are going to send out our Christmas cards that arrived in the (saint) nick of time! Keep an eye on your mailboxes, friends 🙂 I absolutely LOVE how they turned out this year. If you missed the boat for Christmas cards, this card also came in a ‘Happy New Year’ design that is gorgeous! And my favorite part- if you load your recipient addresses into Minted’s Address Assistant, they will address your cards for you totally FREE. Perfect for busy families like ours.
Other items on the holiday cheer docket for the week include gingerbread making, cookie decorating, watching all the Christmas classics (Home Alone is our jam!), and strolling the mall for a few last-minute gifts. Ryne and I are headed out on our annual Christmas date tonight. We are going to grab ramen from our fav Denver restaurant and then drive around to look at Christmas lights. So much fun! The house is covered in tinsel, bits of wrapping paper, and Christmas-colored sprinkles; the kids will be living in their Christmas pajamas until the New Year and it all feels oh so merry. Wishing you the merriest Christmas week!
