As a kid, my family never sent Christmas cards. But as an adult it is one of my favorite traditions this time of year. I love the excuse to get family photos taken and it makes checking the mail a little extra fun! Plus Quinn loves looking at the pictures of all our family and friends. Our Christmas cards arrived in the mail on Thursday and I spent the better part of yesterday stuffing, sealing, and stamping them (and eating my body weight in those tiny marshmallows). ‘Tis the season!
Hoping the pics could do double duty as Christmas card and maternity photos, we had family photos taken in early November by our very talented friend and photographer, Melissa Yocum. I was only about 24 weeks along, but I think we were able to emphasize the bump just enough to make it work! I was so excited when we got the photos back last week. Melissa always does such an incredible job- she makes it difficult to pick just one! So I thought I’d share a few of my other favorites here 🙂
Real talk- organizing everyone for family photos and trying to get Quinn and Ryne to smile/open their eyes at the same time makes me want to drink heavily, but I seriously treasure the end result.
