Ryne and I escaped to the Cape this weekend without our children (cue the confetti!). We are both big fans of the East Coast. The last time we visited, we were fresh off the loss of our first angel baby, I was studying for my boards (not exactly my idea of fun) and we were doing our best to soak up all the joy of toddler Quinny.
This trip felt like a different lifetime compared to that experience. Ryne and I are both big fans of the East Coast and after our trip to Martha’s Vineyard in July, we were both really excited to be back. We explored new neighborhoods and local beaches. Ate and drank our bodyweight in amazing food and reveled in every moment of time just the two of us.
Where we stayed:
Wequassett Resort and Golf Club. This hidden gem of a resort is nestled between the trees. If you didn’t know where to find the drive leading to the hotel, you could drive right past it. It’s located right on the beach, which means the pools, rooms, and restaurants all have the most incredible seaside views. We stayed in a stunning cottage, complete with a deck to (perfect for a glass of wine paired with the setting sun) and a fireplace in the room for chilly mornings. Located close to town, which has super cute shops and restaurants.
