Quinny is three weeks into 2nd grade at a new school and loving every minute of it. Back in January, we felt drawn to make the change to a new school (literally 4 minutes from our house) and by February we had made the decision to transfer Quinn starting this fall. Fast forward through Covid and all of the effects it has had on schools around the country and I’m so, so grateful we made the switch when we did! Quinny is in class five days per week, making new friends, and learning so much. Ryne and I can already see this school is where our kids are meant to be and we couldn’t be happier with how well Quinn has handled the transition!
Conrad starts his first year of pre-school next week and my mommy heart is breaking just a little bit thinking about it! His pre-school is in the church right next door to Quinny’s school, so that makes drop-off simple and puts my mind at ease a little bit knowing the kids will be near each other. Every morning we loop around his school as we drop off Quinn and Conrad yells “That’s my new school!” He is so excited and that’s really all that matters. And, on the bright side, I am super looking forward to this special season of memory-making with Ivy.
