Aaaaah we’re having another BABY!!! We are so excited to share that Quinn & Conrad are going to be a big sister and big brother to our newest baby Hammons, due in April 2019! We are feeling so blessed and grateful and cannot wait for our family to grow!
We found out we were pregnant the day after we got home from the August Maui trip we took with the kids. I had a sneaky suspicion during our trip that I might be pregnant, but we waited until we got home to test. I was already a few days late and had not even replaced the cap on the stick before it turned positive. Ryne and I were both over the moon and maybe a little bit in shock for the first week or so. I calculated my due date to be April 25th, but at our first ultrasound baby measured on track for delivery on Easter Sunday!
This has definitely been my hardest pregnancy. I’ve been so insanely tired. I’m usually in bed by 9 and I’ve mostly been disgusted by coffee again, which doesn’t help. Very much looking forward to having a little energy back as I roll into the second trimester. I’m so grateful for my saint of a husband who has been so sweet and supportive. I can’t count the times he took the kids out of the house so I could nap or that he accommodated my cravings. And every time he leaves the house without me, he brings home fresh flowers. Sweetest. Man. Alive.
We find out in a couple of weeks if baby is a boy or a girl! Initially, I thought we might be having a girl because I have been more sick than I was with Conrad and my cravings were similar to my pregnancy with Quinn. But at our most recent ultrasound I had an overwhelming feeling that we are having a boy. We know that whatever sweet, little soul God sends us is exactly what we need, so it will be wonderful either way! Fall is usually my favorite, but this year I am SO excited for spring!! Let the countdown begin 🙂
