A Few of My Favorite [Christmas] Things

The stockings are hung by the chimney with care and we are so excited that this festive, fun, peppermint-scented season is finally here. As kids, Ryne and I bonded over our mutual love of the Christmas season (among other things) and as adults we still love it just as much.

I wanted to share a few of my favorite Christmas things that make every day just a little more festive this time of year. In addition to our holiday decor and Christmas music (or Polar Express) that plays on repeat in our home, holiday-themed sweatshirts and red nail polish always put me in the Christmas spirit. I’ve also become obsessed with Starbucks Holiday Spice Flat White. It tastes like it came straight from the North Pole and it’s only available between Thanksgiving and New Years.Christmas Vacation moose mug // door mat // filthy animal sweatshirt only $10! // mittens // holiday rocks glass // bearded and jolly tee // apron // candle // gingerbread ornament // glitter nail polish

I will never get over that doormat. Ours just arrived in the mail and I love it so much! I can’t help but laugh every time I see it. I’m tempted to ask my neighbor if I can borrow a cup of sugar just so that someone else can come over and appreciate its hilarity. I also love this You’ll Shoot Your Eye Out tee and this Griswold Guys tee (Mom, if you’re reading this- I’m a size small. Maybe a medium to accommodate my growing bump. We can pretend it was your idea.) Other Christmas must-haves for us are fresh evergreen wreaths. We picked up a couple at Costco over the weekend. We have an artificial tree, which I love for the convenience and lack of mess, but it’s hard to beat the smell of the fresh evergreen inside. Last year I trimmed a few pieces and put them in vases around the house for our guests to enjoy when they came to visit.

I hope you all have a very merry Thursday!
