Hope you all had a very happy 4th of July! With each passing year (and each additional baby) this holiday gets more and more fun. We made big plans to celebrate at my dad’s with sparklers, lots of delicious food, and our town firework display from his back deck. The kids were so excited. They danced around in the yard and waved their flags most of the afternoon while we caught up with family and stuffed our faces with the smorgasbord of food my step-mom made for everyone. By the end of the night, the kids were exhausted from dancing/playing/asking for snacks. Quinn lit sparklers and pretended to be a wizard while we waited for fireworks to start. We weren’t sure how Conrad would do with the fireworks, but we certainly found out the hard way. He cried through the whole thing, but the show was amazing and Quinn loved it!
