I am three and a half months pregnant with our third little love, and although I had so much fun doing weekly/every other week chalkboards in my first two pregnancies, I’m thinking monthly chalkboards will be all I can manage this time around. So here it is- three months with baby number three!
How far along: 15 weeks
Gender: GIRL!
Weight gain: Almost 8 lbs.
Maternity clothes: I feel like I started showing the second I found out I was pregnant. I said goodbye to my high waisted jeans around week six (see you in 3-5 years) and I’ve been living in my beloved Gap maternity leggings ever since.
Stretch marks: No new ones
Belly button in or out:Â In
Sleep: Sleeping great. I don’t know how, but I’m actually getting 8 full hours of sleep every night. Knock on all the wood.
Best moment this month: Hearing baby’s heartbeat at my latest doctor’s appointment and finding out the gender! And having energy and loving coffee again 🙂
Worst moment this month: The exhaustion and nausea took me down HARD in the first few months. Couple that with trying to keep up with the house/work/kids and I was barely making it through each day. God bless my sweet, sweet husband for taking on literally all of our responsibilities during that time. I’m happy to report that I am feeling so much more like myself and we are finding balance once again.
Cravings: 1st trimester cravings included Chik fil a, ice cream, and sushi. Ryne was quick to volunteer to satisfy those first two. As of late I’ve been craving orange juice, breakfast burritos, and adult beverages.
Miss anything: Missing fitting into my normal clothes more than ever.
Movement: I may have felt a few thumps when Ryne and I were at the movies last weekend. So far, the only thing Ryne has felt is gas.
Queasy or sick: So much nausea in my first trimester. I survived mostly on ramen noodles and toast. Feeling much better as of late.
Looking forward to:Â Not pregnancy related, but so excited for our trip to Maui next week! Ryne and I are leaving the kids with my parents so we can get some much needed time just the two of us. It is going to be really lovely to get away as a couple for a week of fun in the sun!!
