How far along: 32 weeks
Gender: Girl
Weight gain: 16 lbs.
Maternity clothes: Yes, and constantly walking around with something spilled on my bump.
Stretch marks: None yet. Anticipating some new ones around week 36.
Belly button in or out: Very, very out.
Sleep: Sleeping much better! We finally started moving on our mounting to do list and I think that helped.
Best moment this month: Conrad’s 2nd birthday and the birth of my niece, Emilia Grace 🙂 She shocked us all when she arrived a month early and on Conrad’s birthday! Ryne and I got to visit her in the NICU a few days after she was born. I cried on the way to the hospital thinking about watching her grow. And holding her just added to my excitement that we are bringing our own baby into the world in two short months!
Worst moment this month: We are in the “things have to get worse before they get better” phase of our spring cleaning. But I really can’t complain. It’s been a very good month and I love that we are making progress on all the things we want to get done before baby is born!
Cravings: I feel like I am either STARVING or stuffed all the time. Baby is sitting super high in my ribs, so I can’t eat much. Currently craving all the sugary baked things- chocolate croissants, scones, and cinnamon sugar everything. I also have a severe craving for clementines, which is exactly what I craved at this point with Quinn.
Miss anything: Date nights cozied up to my husband in a dimly lit bar. And the wine. But honestly, I love being pregnant and I am savoring every kick and my growing bump because I know this will all be over and back to normal so soon.
Movement: Lots of movement between 10pm and midnight these days. Certainly a sign of things to come!
Queasy or sick: No, but starting to feel tired in the afternoons. Lord help me if we’ve made evening plans. By the end of the day my body is sore, my ankles are swollen, and I want nothing more than to lounge in a giant sweatshirt on my own couch.
Looking forward to: Honestly- cranking out this to do list. It is a MILE long and includes everything from cleaning out the freaking basement (which hasn’t been touched since we moved in almost 4 years ago) and sealing all the marble in the house to washing all the tiny baby’s things and packing hospital bags.
Labor signs: None yet! But my sister-in-law’s pre-term delivery reminded me that it’s probably a good idea to be ready early 😉
