Baby Wish List & Must-haves

We have been super busy lately with last minute nursery prep, packing hospital bags, and buying all the last minute essentials for baby sister. I will be 37 weeks pregnant tomorrow- so we’re quickly approaching the any time now zone. We didn’t need much for this third little bundle, but we have picked up a few new items because every baby deserves some cute new things 🙂 I’ve put together a few baby items I would not want to live without and a few we are excited about this time around.

Boon Grass // Dock a Tot // Floral Swaddle Blanket // Nest Camera // Bonnet // Knit Sweater // Headband // Solly Baby Wrap // Thermometer

I am loving these color tones for our soon to be spring baby! That blush pink and rust are a match made in heaven. I used my Solly Baby Wrap all the time with Conrad, especially when we traveled, and fell in love with this blush polka dot pattern for baby sister. I plan to baby wear this little lady as much as possible to bond and free up my hands for the other two. I’m pretty sure it’s going to be absolute chaos either way, but hopefully it will make life a little easier. The Nest camera and the thermometer are the two items I highly recommend to new parents. We use the Nest cam as a baby monitor and will never go back! We pay for the $50/year subscription that allows us to view 10 days of recorded history so we can see if he had a bad nap or how he managed to get out of his crib on his own (spoiler alert: he fell over the edge). The thermometer is hands down the most accurate thermometer we’ve had in the six years we’ve been parents and really is something every household needs. High on our wishlist was the Dock a Tot! We are so excited to have a safe comfy spot to set baby when we need to shower or cook dinner. I already have big plans to take it to the park with us on a summer evening. Ryne and I can hang in the shade of a tree with baby (and a couple mason jars of wine) while the big kids play! Still on our wishlist is this gorgeous baby bouncer. It’s so beautiful, I wouldn’t mind leaving it in any room of the house like a piece of furniture. And it doesn’t require an engineering degree to set it up 😉
