Age: 5 months
Stats: 13.5lbs (we’ll find out more at the pediatrician next month)
New this month: I think we officially have a hip baby!! One of my favorite phases. She is also happier in the car and starting to enjoy bath time. She sits (assisted by the Boppy or pillows), which makes playtime oh so fun!
Sleep: Finally taking daily crib naps and it’s making me feel so human again. On the nap-time menu: showering , working, decluttering, swapping laundry, and basically doing all the things.
Food: We had planned to wait to offer Ivy baby food until after our trip next month, which would put her closer to 6 months old and make traveling a little earlier, but she started showing interest in our food. So we bought a few jars at Target. She was not a fan of pumpkin, apple, or banana. Here’s to hoping she is a unicorn of a child who loves veggies.
