One year ago, on a Friday night, I found I we were expecting our fourth baby. Ryne and I were both shocked, a little overwhelmed, and also unbelievably excited to get to experience the magic of another child. And now here he is! Our sweet four-month-old boy is smiling, laughing, and making our world so much brighter!
Age: 4 months
Stats: At his four-month-old check-up, George weighed 15 lbs 14oz (56th percentile) and measured 27″ (98th percentile)- so he is VERY tall for his age! He is already wearing 6-9 month sizes.
New this month: He found his voice this month! He loves to babble and has the loudest happy squeal.
Sleep: George has slept through the night several times (which feels glorious), but he hit his four-month sleep regression right on cue. Fortunately, after a little research, I feel like we know how to move through it faster this time.
Naps: Taking three to four naps a day (usually on mom) lasting between 30 minutes and two and a half hours. Not great for predictability, but I love the snuggles!
Eating: George breastfeeds before and after every nap and sometimes gets a little milk snack in between. He can be a very efficient eater- sometimes nursing for less than two minutes on each side.
