I’ve been in pharmacy school for what I’m certain has been forever, but with my last spring break in the books I finally feel like the end is near! Despite my fears about traveling solo with Quinn, she was a perfect baby on the flight over. She told everyone in earshot ‘hi’ & even shared her Cheerios with the people behind us. The sweetest! Lucky for me, Ryne was flying home with us when she turned into the screaming, overly tired version of her lovely self.
Maui is hands down our favorite vacation spot! The weather is always incredible and we stay at a resort right on the beach with gorgeous grounds and in close proximity to lots of yummy restaurants. Every day we ate breakfast together and then Ryne and I grabbed a coffee to-go and walked up and down the path along the beach while Quinn napped in her stroller. Around lunchtime, we’d grab chairs in the shade by the pool and lounge there for a bit before heading to the beach. Is it possible to take a kid to the beach without them eating sand? Asking for a friend.
Our girl LOVED the beach. She was completely fascinated by the water and I was completely fascinated by her. Ryne took her into the ocean with the water hitting just above his belly button. Quinn would flap her arms, kick her legs, and giggle like a goofball as each wave rolled up on them. It might just be the cutest thing ever! She would have played there all day if we let her.
