Quinny is back to school! She is a big 3rd grader now and I can hardly believe it! Why do they have to grow up so fast? She was so very excited to be back in class with her friends. We spent our last night of summer walking to ice cream with our neighbor friends and it was the perfect end to a lovely summer. In preparation for the new school year, Quinny got new color-changing glasses and a fresh pair of white sneakers. Back-to-school shopping is pretty limited for us since Quinn’s school has uniforms (but I am obsessed with the Christopher plaid!).
Conrad will be off to Pre-k just after Labor Day. He absolutely LOVES school and is so excited to be back in the classroom. Ivy will go to preschool next year, which means we have one more year of a little one-on-one time with mom and dad 💛
I always put together a back-to-school basket for the kids’ teachers and love how this one turned out. The apple felt garland from Glitter Party Co was the perfect final touch! Is wine an appropriate gift for a teacher? Asking for a friend.
We are so grateful for our wonderful school and the amazing community that calls it home. These last few years have shown us more than ever just how important our school selection is. By the time our kids hit 1st grade their teachers and peers spend more time with them during the week than we do! So the influence that the educators and the community provide is an important one.
Wishing you all a wonderful and healthy school year ahead!
