Ryne’s family will be traveling to Colorado this week to spend Thanksgiving with us. The townhouse we lived in after we got married was too small to accommodate gatherings larger than a double date, so we are thrilled to have enough space to host the holidays this year!
Ryne and I are better known for our abilities to pour a drink than cook a meal, so we have kept the appetizers simple and the dinner menu traditional. Our guests will be served a charcuterie board and festive cocktails midday so that we can focus our efforts on making dinner. We will be baking the turkey, having all of our favorite sides like cheesy potatoes andย Grand Marnier infused cranberry sauce, and trying a new recipe we learned at our cooking class in Paris last month. And if those plans fail, we’ll be just as happy ordering Chinese food take-out ๐
I am already daydreaming about the delicious food (and wine!) on the horizon and feeling extra grateful this year for pants with an elastic waistband ๐
