Quinn was up bright and early on Easter Sunday! She came running into our room just before 7am yelling “Happy Easter!” The Easter bunny hid all of our eggs inside again this year. Ryne and I told Quinn to hold off on her egg hunt until we were done brushing teeth and changing brother’s diaper, but she just couldn’t wait and got started without us. Quinn’s eggs were filled with goodies like chocolate, candies, stickers, and pennies. She stopped to open each egg individually before finding the next. After church, we ate breakfast as a family and let Quinn open her Easter basket.
We went to my uncle’s for brunch and an egg hunt with my dad’s side of the family. The weather was so beautiful, much warmer than it has been in recent years! And we loved every minute of watching the kids hunt eggs while we sipped mimosas out on the patio! We spent the evening with my mom’s side of the family celebrating my brother’s 30th birthday. Quinn is still obsessing over her Easter basket and all of the plastic eggs. We’ll definitely be hiding them until Christmas.
