How far along: 29 weeks
Due Date: November 26th. Ryne is guessing the baby will be born on November 11th and I am guessing November 18th. Neither of us thinks I’ll make it to Thanksgiving.
Gender: A boy!
Weight gain: 13 lbs. In my last two pregnancies, my weight gain slowed way down right about now, so I’m not concerned that I’ve only gained one pound in the last five weeks. I gained 17lbs total in my pregnancy with Conrad and 18lbs in my pregnancy with Ivy, so 13lbs at 29 weeks is pretty par for the course.
Maternity clothes: I officially fit into nothing unless it has elastic in it. It’s stretchy pants and Ryne’s t-shirts for me from here on out.
Sleep: Sleeping SO much better than I was a couple of months ago and feeling super grateful.
Best moment this month: Ryne and I went on our annual Hobby Lobby & Blizzards date night. We share a cookie dough blizzard and stroll all the newly released holiday decor at Hobby Lobby. It’s absolutely ridiculous and magical at the same time.
Worst moment this month: Having trades back in our house for final inspections. Spoiler alert- we didn’t pass. We got docked for a few small things like extending a ladder in a window well and adding one more outlet to our kitchen island, but I did not care for having workers back in our house.
Miss anything: The occasional glass of wine. Rolling over (although I love it when my husband extends his hand to help me get up from tucking the kids into bed at night).
Movement: Tons and it’s visible from the outside now! Plus lots of hiccups. I’m soaking up every little thump because it seriously is such an incredible blessing to feel life growing inside you. I know I will miss it when this season of my life is over.
Cravings: Peanut butter & jelly (or as Ivy calls it, a peanut butter & sandwich)
Other symptoms: Lots of heartburn, restless legs, and leg cramps
Looking forward to: Our babymoon! Ryne and I have always managed to squeeze in a trip together before our babies arrive and I’m so glad we’re making the time for one this pregnancy. 18 years together and I never get tired of spending time with him.
Name considerations: We have a first name nailed down, but are stuck on the middle name. Ryne and James are high on my list. New to the middle name considerations this month is the name Scott.
